SEE THROUGH LOVE, 2018, 6 x 8, painted with river water, mineral and plant pigments, and almond flower essence. This was one of the first cards I made for my Oracle Deck, but it was not in the final version. This painting illustrates the transformation we experience when we see through the lens of love, how it awakens the heart, divine passion, an ocean of feminine wisdom, and the ability to offer healing to others and receive the seeds of potential from the heavens to birth through our vessels of love.
SOFTENING INTO THE BODY, 2018, 8 x 10, painted with water from the ocean in Kauai, mineral and plant pigments, yellow ginger, and lilac flower essences. This piece brings gentle relaxation and flexibility to the mind to ground gently into the body. It carries the energy of letting go. I did a print run of this piece in 2019 but never sold the original.
WEAVE YOUR WEB, 2018, 6 x 9, painted with river water, butterfly blue pea essence, plant and mineral pigments, and mica. This piece was the first draft of the Weave Your Web card in my oracle deck and activates the divine weaver and creatress within, who weaves her life from a place of empowered choice and desire.
DAWNING OF PRIMROSE, 2018, 7 x 10, is painted with river water, plant pigments, mica, and primrose flower essence. It is a bridge to the sun and a celebration of birth after death. It is a reminder that you are love and radiate divine love; no matter what your childhood, past, or wounds you carry deep within you, the sun will always rise, and you will always be filled with love.
BECOMING, 2018, 12 x 9, painted with fern hydrosol, lavender infusion, and angel's trumpet flower essence. This piece is simply about growth. We are all just plants, and this piece more specifically illustrates the kind of growth I felt at the time: my creative capacity was expanding, my mind was open, my heart was unfurling to new love, and I was grounding into new lands. I was also learning to be seen and seen as growing, not having it all figured out. This piece represents the grounded freedom change can offer when we are willing to be like nature.
RADIANT LIGHT, 2018, 6 x 9, painted with goldenseal paint, sunflower flower essence, and mica. This piece is warm, grounded, and happy, just like I felt the day I created it. I did a print run of this piece in 2018, which sold out quickly, but I never sold the original.
PORTAL OF CHANGE, 2018, 8 x 10, painted with hibiscus, plant/mineral pigments, and river water. This was inspired by a meditation which then inspired a Soul Tattoo I marked on myself on my left arm. This piece and the tattoo are a reminder of the nature of change in being a woman and honor the cycles that move through you. It is a call to walk through the portal of transformation with delight, trust, grace, and clear sight, knowing your transformation will align you with where/who you are meant to be.
